Hope asks HH Shiekh Khalifa to accelerate mass collaboration for UAE

Our work in UAE is to accelerate the speed and scale of the country going green and sustainable. As you will see from this new chart they consume 1600% of renewable water resources. So now I am updating our focus to:

Much progress has been made, now we have to scale and the mass collaboration of ALL citizens and residents is critical to sucess.

Decree 42 of 2009 sets out the COMPULSARY Environment, Health and Safety framework however, in the Middle East TIME is not considered an asset so the speed of implementation is too slow to bring about sustainability.  There is also no real understanding or appreciation of Intellectual Property or processes so transferring knowledge is skipped and people dont understand why something is important for them to learn and act on.

HE Gill Wallace Hope nominates HH Shiekh Khalifa for Nobel Peace Prize

HE Gill Wallace Hope nominates President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the Nobel Peace Prize supported by HH Sultan Qaboos, Ruler of Oman.

HE Hope is Special Advisor to UAE for FDI and Sustainability says " Like Mother Teresa ( Nobel Peace Prize winner 1979)  who said 'love in action is seeing a need and doing something about it, HH Shiekh Khalifa LIVES the teachings of the Holy Quran and Hadiths and is a true example of 'faith in action'".

"The teachings in the Holy Quran about Peace and environment are profound" Hope states "However, it is important for the world that the positive and practical acts of over 1 billion Muslims are visible to other global citizens and faiths so we can build understanding, unity and collaboration".

According to Nobel's will, the Peace Prize shall be awarded to the person who

“ ...shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.[1]

Recent Award made to HH Shiekh Khalifa in August 2011

AL AIN - President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan received this evening at Al Rawdha Palace in Al Ain the ‘Islamic Personality of the Year’ Award from His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Shaikh Khalifa was selected for the coveted award by the Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA) in its 15^th edition.

The ceremony was attended by  Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and  Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region.

Shaikh Khalifa expresses appreciation for DIHQA’s efforts to preserve the Holy Quran as the source of code of conduct for Muslims.

Shaikh Khalifa said: ”the award is associated with meanings which reflect our interest as one Muslim nation in preserving Islam as the religion of tolerance, moderation, peace, concord and harmony among people of the world.

For his part, Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed pride in honouring Shaikh Khalifa as the ‘Islamic Personality of the Year’ as he is a leading figure of philanthropy and humanitarian work whose giving goes beyond his own people to the whole Arab World to alleviate the suffering of the needy and bereaved people.”

“My brother Shaikh Khalifa deserves all the loyalty and appreciation, not only as a unique wise leader, but also as a generous man who have all the good characteristics of charity and generosity. The award is well-deserved and His Highness is capable of handling each and every great national and human matter,” Shaikh Mohammed added.

Chairman of the organizing committee of DIHQA said Shaikh Mohammed gave orders to DIHQA to take responsibility of printing and handing out one million copies of the Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Mus’haf (of the Holy Quran) only for the sake of being awarded by Allah.

Fair Trade Green Oil by Queen of Green

Queen of Green has set up the first international partnership to extract and process ‘Fair Trade Green Oil’.  The community that owns the oil-rich land wanted to extract it without causing any harm to the environment.

Gill Wallace Hope has developed the ‘Extraction and Processing Policy’ in alignment with the environmental policy in the Holy Quran.  5 advisors from Mecca have provided input on environment, water, land, health, and safety.

She says “It is very important to honor the community to ensure that their environment is protected and their economic participation can be re-invested in developing their other industries to provide a balanced economy”.

Hope is applying the UAE policy on Environment, Health and Safety (Decree 42 of 2009) which is a world first on compulsory protection of the environment in any industrial process.  It will be the first time that a UAE knowledge system has been transferred to another country in the region to alleviate poverty.

HH Shiekh Zayed, the founder of UAE was totally committed to a balance between Development and Nature.

The Community will receive the latest technologies from around the world to ensure that no oil is leaked into the sea, rivers, or land during the extraction process.  Total Quality Management will be applied to the whole supply chain to eliminate waste and pollution at every stage. Prevention of waste and environmental damage will inspire the global industry into new best practices.

The Community will receive a percentage of every barrel that reflects their participation and value in alignment with Fair Trade policies.

Financing has been agreed with Islamic Funds and European guarentees. Drilling is expected to start in January 2012 with Fair Trade Green Oil shipped in April 2012. Pre-sales of the new product are strong as environmentalists working inside the oil and gas industry have been concerned about current industry processes for over 30 years. The environmental cost of oil spills is well known however, the daily contamination by existing processes are extremely high but warrant only a paragragh in the Annual Reports of the oil and gas industry.

With ‘Fair Trade Green Oil’  buyers can vote with their dollars for a new process that balances the needs of the environment, energy and economy.

10,000 unemployed workers to be released from UAE in Ramadan

I've asked his HH Shiehk Khalifa to sign a decree to release the suffering of 10,000 unemployed workers in Ramadan trapped in poverty in the UAE as a result of the economic crisis.

The overseas workers often claim that loosing their job is a source of shame when they return to their families however, in a global economic crisis and reccession, families must appreciate that everyone is affected and work together in the family to restore prosperity when the marekt conditions have improved.
