Press Release::Queen of Green supports ADTA to accelerate Abu Dhabi Hotels to ‘go green’

November 22nd – 24th 2010 is the Green Hotel Conference at Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi which converges policy, practice and green technologies for the hotel industry.
Gill Wallace Hope, founder of Queen of Green FZE is supporting 116 Hotels in Abu Dhabi to ‘go green’. The hotel sector generates 5% of the global CO2 emissions so it’s a vital sector to ‘go green’.
Abu Dhabi will use the green hotels as a foundation to attract eco-conscious tourists, especially Europeans, Japanese and Russians who want to practice their green lifestyle at home and when they travel.
Queen of Green will transform Emirates Palace Hotel in January 2011 reducing its energy costs by 85%. Hope said “The hotel industry is smart, they know that every time they improve their efficiency and reduce costs they immediately benefit their bottom line.”
Queen of Green insists on working with hotels who desire a ‘triple win’, a win for their customers, their profits and the environment.
