O1. Oprah goes live from Chicago to Abu Dhabi 



Oprah: Q We are going over to the Middle East to talk to Hope

Hope: A Hi, Oprah thanks for inviting me on the show




O2. Oprah says President Obama is working hard to bring new relationships and unity 



Oprah: Q why do you think Obama is bringing new relationships and unity?

Hope: A He’s rescinding NSSM 200 and 201 so that America can have a fresh start with Africa.




O3. Hope discusses Obama’s respect for women



Oprah: Q How is he influenced by women?

Hope: A He’s uniting all countries behind the real social issues, re-connecting the world citizen to citizen




O4. Hope takes on large scale transformation for the poor 



Oprah: Q You’ve taken on a continent of orphans? How?

Hope: A If we keep ignoring the poorest of the poor we cant enjoy our wealth..
planning ‘top down’ and investing ‘bottom up’ is the only way to empower at the community level



O5. Oprah asks Hope what she loves about her work.



Oprah: Q so what do you love about your work?

Hope: A the challenge of taking a problem and releasing the creativity and talent from everyone



O6. Oprah asks Hope what keeps Hope going through these challenges?



Oprah: Q what keeps you going? 

Hope: A It’s my faith...to overcome the indifference, ignorance, racism, sexism and death threats and to find the way through.



O7. Oprah asks how global citizens of all faiths can participate.



Oprah: Q how can global citizens of all faiths participate?

Hope: A 
We have 29 stakeholder groups including youth, women and volunteers, there is infinity of ways to serve.



O8 Oprah asks Hope why she is so dedicated to a generation of orphans?


Oprah: Q Why are you so connected to orphans as a social challenge?

Hope: A My mother was 15 when she got pregnant and put me in a Children’s home and I was adopted
by two loving parents who had various health challenges. I can’t give these orphans their parents back 
but I can through my work empower them to have a green and sustainable future.
